NTTS NEWS:NTTS Time Trial Results Alpine RoadNTTS TT #3!! With hotter weather the NTTS group pulled through for another solid effort.
From Coach Brandon Nugent:Welcome to NTTS (New to the Sport)! This is a great time to come out and prepare for what will be an exciting emersion into the world of triathlon. NTTS is geared toward those who have never done a triathlon or who feel they need to revisit the basics. Whether you are someone who is new to fitness training entirely or you are accomplished in one or more of the sports (just have not put them all together yet), NTTS will help you reach not only the starting line, but the finish line as well. Also, if you have been racing in the sprint distance and want to go to the next level, you can benefit from the NTTS workouts. In respect to the 4 disciplines of triathlon (swim, bike, run and transitions), NTTS will cover all but swimming. While swimming will not be the focus, we will cover transitions from the water to the bike, and as always I am happy to answer and field questions you might have regarding "the churn". Every Saturday starting February 2nd we will be meeting to focus on training and how to build a training week to accomplish your triathlon goals. Here is the usual format:
