Team Accelerate

To guide and teach new, slightly experienced (at least one triathlon completed), and intermediate triathletes the essentials of triathlon racing. Focus areas include:

  • Open water swimming skills
  • Bike handling (solo and in a pack), eating on the bike
  • Proper run form and fueling strategies during runs

Training Structure

Group Workouts:

  • SVTC Track (Tuesdays)
  • SVTC Swim (Wednesdays)
  • Team Rides (Saturdays)
  • Open Water Swims (Sundays, as appropriate)
Additional Support:
  • Swim/Bike/Run/Strength/Mobility workouts via TrainingPeaks
  • Exclusive clinics for TA and NTTS participants
  • Weekly Zoom calls with coach (nutrition, programming, equipment, race prep)

Race Focus:

  • Spring: Sprint or Olympic distance
  • Summer: Sprint/Olympic or Half Ironman
  • Training plans tailored to experience and available time (6, 9, or 12 hrs/week)
