Led by Arnaud<br />When: meet at 5:30pm, wheels roll at 5:45pm<br />Where: Lucky at Grant and Arboretum<br />What: SVTC Thursday Night Ride Regroup Hill Route<br /><br />http://www.strava.com/routes/2853410694117198380<br /><br />The first climb (warm up and honest effort):<br />After the turn onto Edith from Foothill, the route turns right onto Fremont (instead of left and heading to Robleda). The route then turns left onto Concepcion to Purissima (Group A folks come down Concepcion as an optional loop). The route follow Purissima to the left onto Elena, and turns right on Natoma (versus continuing straight for Group A), and then turns right on Black Mountain (Group A optional loop). We will regroup at the top of Black Mountain and Altamont.<br /><br />The second set of climbs:<br />The route turns right onto Altamont, then left onto Page Mill Rd (watch out for traffic) up to Foothill Park. In Foothill Park we go down left at the fork along the lake and then back up to the viewpoint at the top with the benches and regroup there. Back down to exit the park, make a right on Page Mill for a short steep section, and left on Moody Rd. Careful going down Moody there&#39;s often some loose gravel on the pavement. Ride almost all the way down Moody to make a sharp right onto Rhus Ridge for a short punchy climb, left and down onto Basset Ln to catch a right up Summit Wood and La Loma. Watch out for the rope at the bottom of Basset Ln! Again regroup at the top of La Loma.<br /><br />The third climb:<br />Down La Loma, right on Prospect, right on Stonebrook around Quarry Lake, right on Magdalena, regroup at the top. Down Magdalena, right on Camino Hermoso to W Loyola, right on Sunhills, left on Mora back down to Foothill
