About this event

This week, we continue our IMSC training. Due to road paving from SC to Davenport, we have to find an alternative route. So, we'll start from the North, and head South then back North.  Same 56 miles and different scenery. 
 

Ride start: Corner of Tunitas Creek Road and Rt 1.  Park on Tunitas.  arrive by 9:00am, roll at 9:15am sharp  (Led by Vincent), please call or text me if you are late or delay finding parking. 408-480-9933.  Alternatively you can also part across Rt1 at the Tunitas State Beach. You'll have to pay a few dollars.

Please register so that I know who is coming.  Should be a fun ride with different feel, but still get the wind and about the same rolling terrain.

 Santa Cruz IMSC alternate - 56 miles, 3400 ft

SPEED:   16+ mph on moderate terrain and distance, >1w/lb sustained power effort
SKILL LEVEL:  Experienced and training focused
This is not a NO_DROP ride. Pack will wait a reasonable time at re-group point, but each rider must be able to maintain 16 mph equivalent effort to keep up with the pack.

BE PREPARED: Bring cue sheet (above), water (2 bottles), gels, bars, spare tubes (with the correct stem length for carbon wheels), pump/CO2 cartridges, tools, sunblock lotion, and additional clothing for any weather changes.
