Join Pim Kunakasem for a session of Functional Mobility and Self Massage for Athletes. Registration is required - the session is free but supporting donations ($7 suggested) - entirely optional - are gratefully accepted and can be made by registering as a Donor Participant. Session begins promptly at 6:00 pm; please arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand to get set up. "Props" (i.e., the wall, chair, blocks, straps, blankets) can be useful. Pim often uses all of the above however it is not required. Ideally, have: - a couple of yoga blocks - a yoga strap, long belt or resistance band - a thick towel or blanket We often use "yoga therapy balls". You can use 2 tennis balls. Also have a long sock in which the balls can be placed inside, with the end tied to hold the balls in place. Sometimes we'll keep the balls inside the sack/sock or use them separately. Lacrosse balls tend to be a bit too firm for what we are practicing. Session will end by 7:15 pm as we need to be out of the room by 7:30 pm.
